Croatia

This beautiful Central European country was once part of Yugoslavia until 1991. In fact, the English poet Lord Byron was the first who described Dubrovnik - a major coastal destination - as the “pearl of the Adriatic.”

The country has stayed off the beaten path for many travelers, making it an often over-looked destination option. But now, due to its pristine beaches, historical points of interest, several UNESCO World Heritage sites, picturesque 11 nature parks, 8 national parks, 2 nature reserves and delicious food, its popularity is growing quickly. In fact, it’s been recently discovered that some of the world’s most intact pyramids exist in one of Croatia’s surrounding countries (also former Yugoslavia), called Bosnia Hercegovina. Further, a Croatian city called Pula is home to a more flawless example of a Roman Amphitheatre than Rome’s own Colosseum.

The crowning jewels of Croatia have repeatedly been one of its 1,246 islands, known for its limestone cliffs, crystal clear waters, unique vineyards, endless olive groves and supply of lavender. Nonetheless, Croatia is so much more than just pretty beaches. For example, Plitvice National Park, one of the best national parks in all of Europe and a natural wonder, is a bucket-list destination for the nature lover or adventure seeker.

Throughout the country, foodies, wine connoisseurs, and coffee lovers can find fine food, delectable wine, and strong coffee to enjoy. And if you’re a history buff or TV addict, many of Croatia’s ancient sites have served as filming locations for the HBO show "Game of Thrones."

Let us show you what this country and its surrounding countries (Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia i Herzegovina and Serbia) have to offer ~ in the meantime, why don’t you envision a private Michelin dinner at sunset over the mountains or Adriatic Sea, a private concert in Postojna Cave, a VIP visit to some of the most important museums and galleries after closing, OR, maybe it’s a helicopter ride over the Alps on your way to a private picnic planned just for you. Anything is possible.
